Gorgeous Dresses, sleek suits and slick cars were to be seen at Magnolia Park, Boarstall on Friday as it played host to the the Cooper School Year 11 prom 2016. Excited students made their way to the event which would celebrate the end of their GCSEs in style and bid farewell to secondary school.

Thanks must go to Mr Simmonds, Mr Coggins and everyone who had a hand in organising such a successful and enjoyable evening, including many surprises, such as an instant fun photo booth, The Wonder Kitchen cupcake van, stylishly dressed tables and themed décor.

Parents watched proudly as the students began to arrivefor the evening which was attended by over 120 students, as well as many of the school staff.

The end of year prom is a significant event in The Cooper School calendar which commemorates the journey the students have taken at the school and celebrates all of their hard work and commitment. It is a chance to say goodbye to staff and to friends that may be heading off in different directions; although we look forward to seeing many students next year as they return to enroll and continue their studies in Post 16 at The Cooper School.
