On Saturday 8th July, 66 students from The Cooper School, accompanied by Mr Coggins, Mr Keeling, Miss Aribas, Miss Carroll and Miss Hirst travelled to La Lac, Mimizan in the South of France for the Watersport and Activity Trip ran by Rockley.

Students spent the week learning to windsurf, sail, stand up paddle-board, canoe, trail bike and many others. They also had a morning out at Dune du Pilat following by an afternoon in Aqualand (a water park!).
At the end of the week the Rockley staff selected students who had shown a real enthusiasm for the activities and they were awarded the Rockley Rock Stars Award. These students were; Ellis Griffiths-Brown, Ellie Daniels, Shanice Wright and Lucy Tear.
The trip was a huge success and many people commented on how good our students were. If you want to have a look at more photos from the trip then follow MrACoggins on Twitter.
