Once again, The Cooper School has nothing but praise for our Year 11 GCSE Students. We have been left mouth wateringly astounded at the creative, intricate and technical examples produced in the GCSE food practicals that have taken place this week.
Mr Coggins, Head of Department for Design and Technology said, “I am hugely proud of the hard work, preparation and skillful way in which the GCSE Food students approached this 3 hour practical exam. To watch these students produce the extremely high standard of dishes, showing such a wide range of skills, was nothing short of exceptional. To complete skills such as filleting fish, portioning chicken, pasta making, bread making, pastry making and many others under these time constraints is a challenge. Well done to each and every one of them!”
