The Christmas spirit is in abundance today at The Cooper School, seeing both Staff and Students taking part in Christmas Jumper Day. This year, donations are invited for Macmillan Cancer support, a charity particularly close to The Cooper School community. Today is particularly pertinent as Christmas Jumper Day falls upon the first anniversary of our teacher, colleague and friend, Jayne Stiles Richards losing her brave battle with the disease. It is a privilege to be able to support a charity that supported her, in her memory. There are various activities taking place throughout the site, as well as other fundraising and events. Seeing the children take part and the generosity offered by staff, students, parents and the wider school community is heart-warming. We would like to thank everyone for taking part and the kind and much appreciated donations.
