Key Stage 5
Dream Big. Through aspirational and inspirational teaching, learners will attain outcomes which empower and enable their future pathways. Work Hard. We’re supporting learners to develop self-discipline and courage, enabling them to grow as individuals, now and in the future. Be Kind. We treat every member of the community with kindness and respect. Quality relationships and restorative approaches are at the heart of what we do. |
Our KS5 curriculum is ambitious meaning that it provides challenge to all learners as follows:
-
It facilitates the study of the subject at University
-
It progresses from KS4 National Curriculum (as appropriate) and deepens understanding of any learning that we revisit to avoid repetition of content
-
It provides support in literacy and numeracy development across all subject areas
-
It outlines how we weave the little examples, the stories, the illustrations and the richness of the topic into our lessons
-
It uses high quality resources (e.g. texts, artefacts, examples, textbooks)
- Our learners meet the 16 to 19 study programme requirements as outlined in government guidance HERE.
